"Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, And His praise in the assembly of saints." -Psalm 149:1 NKJV

Welcome to Psalm149.com

Psalm149.com is an online resource for sharing ideas about worship leading, recording, songwriting and collaboration. The focus of the site is the Forum, however we are building a library of resources regarding various topics.

This is the second generation of Psalm149.com, building on the tremendous hard work of Jim Goodman. Our aim is to build a community that reflects the character of the users and that is influenced by the users rather than just the Site Admins. Feel free to join in and help us to shape this place.

Site sections

  • Archive - Here you will find the old forum and links to some of the items from the old site
  • Library - We hope to build a library of useful articles and other resources both on and off site in the Library
  • Forum - The meeting place for the site. Pop in to discuss issues, chat, and to share ideas.
  • Off-site resources (AKA "links") - Well, as it says, "links".
  • About - A little about the people behind the site, as well as contact details.

New site, new forums

As you've probably noticed by now, the site has changed! Since we have been relatively dormant for a while I thought we needed to be woken up a little - hence the changes. The old stuff is still available (in the Archive section of the site).

Not everything is in place yet, but please bear with us, and feel free to have a look around. If you spot any problems, please let us know either by email via the About page, or in the Forum.

You will need to re-register on the forum to get a new username. Sorry but it was the only way to sort the spam entries. It only takes a few moments to register.

Psalm149.com Vision

Jim's original Vision Statement still stands:

The vision of the site is to allow people who desire to glorify God in music with a common arena to work together in online collaborations, thus enabling people from all over the world, with different gifts and skill levels, to participate and help one another create perhaps the next generation of free praise and worship.”

- Jim Goodman
